NMEA09 Goes Green!

We're making every effort to make NMEA 2009 an environmentally friendly event!

When you arrive at Asilomar, you'll receive a lanyard and name tag made from environmentally friendly materials.  You'll also receive a printed schedule of events and concurrent sessions that is copied on paper with post-consumer recycled content. 

Other ways you can choose to be eco-friendly:

  • This year’s green program has only 16 pages!  This website  provides you with  complete conference details.  Bring your laptop with you if you’d like to review online details while at the conference.

  • A limited number of organic cotton NMEA 2009 tee-shirts and tote bags are available for sale during online registration.

  • Bring your own refillable water bottle and coffee mug or purchase them during online registration.

  • Transportation from Asilomar Conference Grounds to off-site experiences will be by bus to lower carbon emissions.
