NMEA09 Goes
Green!
We're making every effort to
make NMEA 2009 an environmentally friendly event!
When you arrive at Asilomar,
you'll receive a lanyard and name tag made from
environmentally friendly materials. You'll also
receive a printed schedule of events and concurrent sessions
that is copied on paper with post-consumer recycled content.
Other ways you can
choose to be eco-friendly:
-
This year’s green
program has only 16 pages! This website
provides you with complete conference details.
Bring your laptop with you if you’d like to
review online details while at the conference.
-
A limited
number of organic
cotton NMEA 2009 tee-shirts and tote bags are available
for sale during online registration.
-
Bring your
own refillable water bottle and coffee mug or purchase
them during online registration.
-
Transportation from Asilomar Conference Grounds to
off-site experiences will be by bus to lower carbon
emissions.
-
